We cater to active travelers, adventurers, and those with an interest in natural history.
Kamchatka 's brown bears are a treasure worth protecting as we have one of the highest concentrations of bears in the world. Fish are the key species for maintaining this ecosystem. Kamchatka is one of the world's last best places to fish for huge rainbow trout and char. Kamchatka 's 8 species of spawning salmon provides a steady food source for bears, and great fishing. Choose from rafting down a river; fishing from a comfortable base camp; or lodge for rainbows, char, grayling, and salmon on a number of the Peninsula 's most pristine rivers.
The Native cultures of Kamchatka: Itelmen, Koryak, Even, Aleut, and Chukchi are today's links to the ancient history of Kamchatka and the remaining traditions are still a colorful part of life. We offer trips to villages and remote outposts, often coinciding with annual festivals or important cultural events.
