 Ski Nalychevsky Nature Park

March 15-April 15 14-day trips

14-day trips
Groups 2-8 people

Nalychevsky Nature Park is located not far from Yelizovo and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, on the northeast side of Koryaksky and Avachinsky Volcanoes, which overlook the cities. A bowl of mountains and volcanoes nestles spectacular hills, birch forests, tundra, and many hot springs. Spend days skiing the slopes or visiting hot springs of this scenic park. Overnight in the park’s rustic cabins equipped with bunks and wood stoves for heat.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival on Kamchatka, acclimatization. Accommodations are at bed and breakfast in Yelizovo just 15 minutes from the airport.

Day 2 Morning departure, drive about 30 minutes to Pinechevo village. Ski the first day up to a halfway cabin located below the pass. Overnight in cabin or tents as desired.
Day 3 Ski over Pinechova Pass, and down into the park below. Ski to the park center and check into your cabins. Toilets are outhouses and there is no running water. Most inviting are the hot springs about 1 km across the tundra from your cabins. These springs are great for soaking after your ski into the park.

Day 4-7 Ski in the park. We can arrange snow machine support to tow you up into different areas. Snow machine support within the park is an add-on to the trip price.

Day 8-9 Ski out of the park, back over Pinechevo Pass with or without snow machine support as desired. Meet your vehicle at Pinechevo village. Overnight at bed and breakfast.

Day 10-13 Rest, city sight seeing. Also included is the chance for you to take some day-skis to Vilyuchik or Avacha Volcanoes.

Day 14 Departure day. Airport transfer.
